Ferrellgas is on the hunt for a Learning and Development Partner. The Learning and Development Partner will be responsible with assisting in the curation, design, maintenance, and delivery of training to the enterprise. Under the direction of the Talent and Employee Development Manager, they will partner/consult with organizational stakeholders to execute learning opportunities and develop resources/materials to facilitate training and development.

  • Responsible for high-level planning, organization, and development of organizational resources to meet specific training needs of the company.
  • Collaborates with organizational subject matter experts to assist in the curation of content and developmental resources. Analyzes learning needs and partners with subject matter experts to provide input for course content.
  • Interfaces with all company departments to assess training and resource. needs by exposure to company systems and processes to facilitate resource curation.
  • Responsible for auditing and maintenance of internal content. Acts on feedback on curated content through survey and collaboration with project stakeholders.
  • Facilitates, presents, and executes training.
  • Tracks and analyzes training programs by examining learner’s satisfaction levels, proficiency testing and job performance.
  • Responsible for operational process documentation & training.
  • Writes and edits procedural documentation such as user guides and manuals.
  • Presents learning and development content using various modalities; creates and/or curates’ content for course materials appropriate for both in-person and virtual audiences.
  • Provides IT training support.
  • Acts as a backup with technical support pertaining to our learning management systems.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in learning and development, training, and/or instructional design/delivery.
  • Proven track record with executing projects with project management experience.
  • Strong experience with utilizing different Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Experience with SilkRoad preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to facilitate and present training.
  • Ability to present complex data in clear, concise manner.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
