Ferrellgas is on the hunt for a Data Warehouse Analyst. The Data Warehouse Analyst  will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and documenting business source system data and business rules that will contribute to the development and maintenance of the enterprise data warehouse. The incumbent will work directly with the stakeholders of the various lines of business to interpret data requirements into documentation.

  • Documents source system data and requirements in accordance with department standards.
  • Interviews, gathers, understands, analyzes, documents, presents, and designs/diagrams complex business processes and constructs functional specifications for bug fixes, enhancements, and or new development projects.
  • Works with data warehouse team to ensure databases produced are efficient, robust, and meet the ultimate requirements of the users.
  • Helps to develop clearly defined procedures.
  • Monitors database issues and directs resources to resolve highest-priority issues.
  • Reviews data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy.
  • Supports, develops, and maintains the enterprise data warehouse system and corresponding data marts.
  • Troubleshoots and tunes existing data warehouse applications.
  • Conducts research into new data warehouse applications and determines viability for adoption.
  • Evaluates existing subject areas stored in the data warehouse.
  • Works to become subject matter expert for all data in the enterprise data warehouse.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related business field.
  • 2-5 years of work-related experience in business data analysis.
  • 1-3 years of experience with an enterprise reporting package such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on communicating effectively with all levels of management.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively multi-task.
  • Demonstrated skills in critical thinking and problem solving in a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of any CRM, HR or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
