Overview

This position is responsible for delivering, gathering and sorting mail; processing UPS and overnight mail; completing monthly allocation expense reports; ordering and maintaining mail room supplies; assisting and maintaining copiers and supplies; assisting in moving furniture, equipment, and records. Typically requires a high school diploma and 1+ years related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers, gathers, and sorts mail.
  • Processes UPS and overnight mail.
  • Completes monthly allocation expense reports.
  • Orders and maintains mail room supplies.
  • Assists and maintains copiers and supplies.
  • Assists in moving furniture, equipment, and records.
  • Inspects company facility and grounds daily to ensure cleanliness and safety of all areas.
  • Makes repairs and maintenance recommendations to the Manager.
  • Coordinates and monitors vendor work at the facility, ensuring that all work performed by the vendor is properly completed and appropriately billed.
  • Coordinates the ordering, receiving, and expensing activities.
  • Prepares weekly and monthly inventory counts to reconcile inventory in the region.
  • Prepares supplies needed for blood drives.
  • Performs inspections of vehicles and provides cleaning as needed.
  • Scans documents for Office Services and other departments

Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Attention and accuracy with details.
  • Steady, deliberate, and methodical in work performance with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to shift priorities quickly.
  • Ability to produce timely results that are high quality and accurate.
  • Ability to make decisions and take responsibility for them.
  • Pitney Bowes mailing system experience.
  • UPS/RPS manifest system experience.
  • PC experience in Excel and Word required.
  • Mail room operations experience and familiarity with U.S. geography preferred.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
