Under general direction, this position will focus on the development, implementation, and support of our IFS ERP platform for Ferrellgas. The incumbent is also responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and creating technical documentation for the work that they are developing. You will work with the business teams to ensure that IFS meets business requirements.

• Design and develop custom extensions to IFS system implementations to meet the unique needs of Ferrellgas.
• Maintains and supports existing systems.
• Leads design meetings, review meetings, and other project team meetings.
• Designs and develops customized reports.
• Acts as a business functional reviewer for team members in reviews.
• Creates design for the hardware and development platform for CTRM implementations.
• Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves application issues; recommends and implements preventative measures to avoid future problems leading through performance testing.
• Leads meetings with IFS system users, including requirements gathering, sign-off, and implementation meetings.
• Ensures the systems produced by the team are efficient, robust, and meet the ultimate requirements of users.
• Ensures adherence to project schedule, timely response, and resolution of issues.
• Collaborates with security and compliance to ensure site security.
• Ensures systems are tested thoroughly before submission to Quality Assurance.
• Maintains a strong focus on business priorities by being responsive to business requests and developing / maintaining productive working relationships with employees throughout the organization.
• Contributes ideas and opinions to the engagement and practice teams and proactively listens to and seeks out team members' ideas and views

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or other IT related degree
• 5+ years of experience in information systems development
• 5+ years of experience designing new systems or enhancements
• 2+ years’ experience leading projects with multiple developers in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency with IFS Aurena, Marble, Java, and PLSQL
• Proficiency in API integration tools (specifically Boomi) preferred.
• IFS Report writer and development experience preferred.
