Overview

This position is responsible for managing the real estate interests for Ferrellgas. Incumbent also responsible for developing and maintaining the corporate real estate strategy. Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, or business and 5+ years’ related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the real estate interests for Ferrellgas.
  • Develops and maintains the real estate strategy and initiatives including needs, identification, site analysis, cash flow analysis, and lease/buy strategy.
  • Evaluates real estate needs, drives the analysis of any real estate matters, and implements solutions.
  • Develops and communicates all centralized real estate policies and procedures throughout the organization.
  • Develops and implements building standards for space allocation, design and construction, and furniture and equipment.
  • Manages environmental compliance at field locations
  • Oversees draft, review, and revision of contracts, site plans, surveys, environmental reports, and agreements for Sales, Purchases, relocation projects, turnkey, Easements, Right of Way’s, Property/Boundary disputes, miscellaneous work service agreements, etc.
  • Manages negotiating real estate acquisitions, sales, leasing agreements, conducting, and reviewing appraisals, reviewing tenant leases and amendments.
  • Responsible for due diligence processing related to purchase, sale, acquisition, or other real estate related projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, or business.
  • 5+ years’ related experience.
  • Superior negotiation/persuasion skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve real estate related problems.
  • Outstanding integrity, accountability, a positive attitude.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Real Estate License preferred.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
