Overview

Under general supervision, this position assists with purchasing and order fulfillment functions. The incumbent is responsible for executing purchase orders for goods, services, tanks, vending units, and other items as approved by management. In the current environment this person would also be responsible for entering receipts into the system, coding invoices and processing EDI loaders for approval. The incumbent would work cross functionally within the team as a backup for other functions as assigned. Candidates must possess strong organizational, analytical, and database management skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Processes purchase order requisitions. Ensuring requisitions are properly supported, with levels of authority approvals

  • Provides exceptional Customer Service to Field employees and vendors.

  • Process all EDI and manual invoices received by the Procurement department. Closing out orders within Navision

  • Works closely with the accounting department to ensure proper expense coding for all centrally billed items.

  • Assists with updating databases for yard tank inventory

  • Assists with building and sustain supplier relationships

  • Plans and evaluates timelines

  • Analyzes data as requested, produce reports that assist with making data driven decisions.

  • Assists with month-end closing processes

  • Gathers and prepares documents to assist with the new vendor set up.

  • Processes orders via vendor portals as required

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 1+ years of experience required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Work with information on a confidential basis.

  • Exceptional organizational skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Manage multiple deadlines and tasks.

  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

  • Proficient in Excel, Word and working knowledge of Smartsheet

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
