Ferrellgas is looking for a talented and motivated PeopleSoft Developer to join our IT team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting PeopleSoft solutions that keep our business running smoothly. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design high-impact enhancements, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize integrations—particularly within Accounts Receivable and Payable functions. • Develop and customize PeopleSoft applications and processes based on business requirements.

• Support and enhance existing functionality to ensure system stability and performance.

• Participate in design and planning sessions with business stakeholders and provide technical insight.

• Troubleshoot, test, and resolve system issues while documenting processes and solutions.

• Ensure all development meets best practices in security, code quality, and compliance.

• Collaborate with internal security and infrastructure teams to maintain a secure environment.

• Play a key role in PeopleSoft upgrades and integrations with other enterprise platforms.

• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and prioritize their needs effectively.

• Support integration efforts, particularly around AR/AP, using tools like Integration Broker.

• Provide technical leadership and contribute to broader IT initiatives beyond PeopleSoft as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of PeopleSoft development experience (ideally in version 8.9 or earlier).

• Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Financial modules, especially AR and Billing.

• Experience with tools such as App Engine, SQR, PeopleCode, Oracle PL/SQL, and Oracle Packages.

• Familiarity with Integration Broker or other API tools for system integration.

• Knowledge of relational database design and general system architecture.

• Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage competing priorities, adapt quickly, and work independently or as part of a team.

• Bonus: Familiarity with project management practices or experience in cross-functional environments.
